Do you remember?

Do you remember how it felt when you walked into my house and I kissed you hello?

Like I hadn’t seen you in lifetimes, after spending hours with our eyes locked on each other.

Your tongue danced with mine in a tango that spanned centuries.

Do you remember how I tasted of red wine and unspoken words? You of unanswered questions and hesitant caresses.

We were high on that “forbidden flavor” defined by undeniable chemistry.

If you asked me today what the formula for ignition is, I would tell you that it is you + me that equals immediate combustion.

I crave your touch the way an addict craves her next fix.

Except what is broken cannot be repaired.

Do you remember how you pulled back again, saying you needed another taste of “THAT”

Except “THAT” is something so rare we can only partake in moderation without expending our rations.

Do you remember what it felt like to have no limit on those moments?

I can’t seem to forget.
