Something I don’t share often (but probably should if I ever want it to actually BE anything) is that I have a small metaphysical business where I perform energy work and read tarot. The reason I don’t really talk about is honestly made up of 2 parts I realized over this last year-
One part shame. One part self doubt. BOTH no longer serve me. I know this because, well, THERAPY.
BUT if I’m being honest, I’ve been in therapy for less than a year. The cards have been telling me that for MUCH longer.
I’ve been reading tarot for going on 8 years now. I remember secretly scheduling lessons after work in Manhattan with a reader I met through MEET UP (remember that?!) and telling my boyfriend I would be late at work. He wasn’t a fan of “those cards.”
The boyfriend didn’t last but the cards- the cards, they never lie. Unlike the boyfriend… but I digress.
Tarot became the place I found answers and when I really reflect back on it, Tarot is the place where I found God. (MAN I can hear the Christian’s a-hollering)
But it’s true.
There’s so much more to Tarot than people realize and it’s so much more than JUST a party trick.
Tarot is about connection, and authenticity, and honesty and life in its rawest form: ENERGY.
And try as we might ENERGY can not be ignored for long.
I share my cards (and my Energy) with loved ones, strangers, and pretty much anyone who’s interested.
But there’s still so many misconceptions about Tarot. How it works, what it means, if Miss Cleo was really a fraud.
I don’t know about Cleo but I DO know a thing or two about Tarot and energy work. I do know a few more things about astrology and crystals.
And though these are just my personal experiences and understandings I DO know that the more information that’s out there, the more energy that’s out there, it’s bound to make a difference.
So why not share? Even if no one is asking.
After all Einstein said “energy can neither be created nor destroyed- it can only be changed from one form to another.”
SHARING Energy is bound to make a change
And what else are we here for if not to make a difference.
